Visualization: Your Blueprint for creating wealth
Can you really create wealth through visualization? Can you really get rich by visualizing yourself rich?
I was surfing the net for blogs on wealth for inspiration on a post I want to write on Wealth.
I stumbled upon this post by Robert Frank on the blogs from WallStreetJournal.com
I thought it was pretty interesting so I’d like to share it with you here:

Can You Get Rich by Visualizing Yourself Rich?
By Robert Frank
The idea that you can get rich by picturing yourself rich has a long and oft-mocked history.
Even before “The Secret” — the blockbuster bestseller that said that good thoughts lead to success – there were similar tomes like “The Science of Getting Rich” published in 1910 and “Think and Grow Rich” in 1937.
All of the books have the same premise: You can visualize your way to wealth.
Hard work? Revolutionary ideas? Luck? Timing? Nice to have, maybe, but apparently not as powerful as picturing your way to riches, these books say.
It’s not hard to see why critics have often made fun of the theory as part of a “flight from realism.”
Yet Sara Blakely, the billionaire founder of Spanx, is apparently big on such visualization. In Jean Chatzky’s new book “The Difference,” Blakely says that “I believe you can take mental snapshots of your future and what success looks like to you. If you mentally see yourself in a scenario, you’ll start to make decisions in your life that get you there.”
She said that years ago, when she was going door-to-door selling fax machines, she visualized herself as the rich owner of Spanx. Of course, she said she had to take action and work hard to achieve the vision. But the visualization led her along the way.
Scott Adams, the Dilbert creator, is also a proponent. In the 1980s, he followed advice from a friend to visualize what he wanted and then write it down 15 times in a row, once a day. Within weeks, “amazing coincidences started to happen,” he says. “Within a few months the goal was accomplished.” He applied the same technique to get his MBA and become a syndicated cartoonist.
Again, it’s easy to make fun of the idea that people can have it all if they just change their thoughts. But apparently, it works for some people – like Scott Adams and Sara Blakely.

Because I believe visions come from God.
How do I know that?
Have you heard of the story of Hagar and Abraham?
The God Who Sees
Hagar is the slave of his wife Sarah. Sarah gave Hagar to Abraham so he could bear a child with her.
But then, she became so jealous of Hagar that Sarah mistreated her so Hagar ran away.
Let’s read up the rest of the story from the Amplified Bible:
But the Angel of the Lord found her by a spring of water in the wilderness on the road to Shur.
And He said, Hagar, Sarai’s maid, where did you come from, and where are you intending to go? And she said, I am running away from my mistress Sarai.
The Angel of the Lord said to her, Go back to your mistress and [humbly] submit to her control. Also the Angel of the Lord said to her, I will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so that they shall not be numbered for multitude.
And the Angel of the Lord continued, See now, you are with child and shall bear a son, and shall call his name Ishmael [God hears], because the Lord has heard and paid attention to your affliction.
And he [Ishmael] will be as a wild ass among men; his hand will be against every man and every man’s hand against him, and he will live to the east and on the borders of all his kinsmen.
So she called the name of the Lord Who spoke to her, You are a God of seeing, for she said, Have I [not] even here [in the wilderness] looked upon Him Who sees me [and lived]? Or have I here also seen [the future purposes or designs of] Him Who sees me?
Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi [A well to the Living One Who sees me]; it is between Kadesh and Bered. And Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram called the name of his son whom Hagar bore Ishmael. (Genesis 16:7-15 AMP)
God is the “God of seeing” or I say, the God of Vision.. The God Who Sees.
He sees and He allows us to see His future purposes or designs.
Didn’t Hagar cry out, “Have I also seen the future purposes or designs of Him Who sees me?
So if you have a vision of a better future.. I believe it truly came from God.. Who sees that which cannot yet be seen.
You just have the faith to believe it will happen. Sooner or later.
And it will.
To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see. (Hebrews 11:1 GNBDK)
So do you have a vision?
If you do, they said it helps to create a vision board with picture of all the things you want to have and happen in your life.
I think it strengthens our belief in what we cannot yet see.
I have a vision board. Here it is:
Some of it have happened…some I’m still praying for.. But no matter. It will happen.
So do you want to create wealth for yourself and your love ones?
I believe visualization is the blueprint. Do you?
Then let’s start visualizing, shall we?
- Ask God for a vision for your life.. A future full of hope
- Visualize this desired future. Believe. Have faith. You will see it happen
Dear Lord, open my eyes to see what You see.. A future full of Hope for me and my love ones. Help me to have faith and believe. I receive what I have been praying for in faith. Amen.
This is it for now. ‘Til next time.
To our Health, Wealth, and Victory, GODSPEED!
